Syxth ("we", "us", "our") operates the Syxth wearable device and associated cloud services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our device and services.

By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text)
  • Optional: Name

2.2 Device Information

We collect information about your device including:

  • Device identifier
  • Firmware version
  • Last connection time
  • WiFi network name (SSID) - not password

2.3 Captured Images

When you use the capture function:

  • Processing Mode (Default): Images are transmitted to our servers, processed by AI, and immediately deleted. No image data is retained.
  • Save Mode (Optional): If you enable image saving in your settings, captured images and AI responses are stored temporarily according to your subscription tier's retention period (7-30 days).
Important: Saved images are stored server-side and are NOT end-to-end encrypted. Our staff may technically be able to access stored images. If you capture sensitive information (medical records, financial data, private communications), we strongly recommend keeping image saving disabled.

2.4 Usage Data

We collect usage data including:

  • Number of requests per day
  • Timestamps of requests
  • Processing time metrics
  • Error logs

2.5 Payment Information

We process payments through Stripe. We record:

  • Transaction IDs
  • Payment amounts and dates
  • Subscription status

Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our services
  • Process your captures and deliver AI responses
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Send service-related communications
  • Monitor usage for rate limiting and abuse prevention
  • Improve our services and fix bugs
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

4.1 Third-Party AI Services

Captured images are sent to third-party AI providers for processing:

  • Google (Gemini) for vision and language processing
  • Text-to-speech providers for audio synthesis

These providers process data according to their respective privacy policies. Images are transmitted securely and are not retained by these providers beyond processing.

4.2 Payment Processors

Cryptocurrency payments are processed through NOWPayments. We share minimal necessary information to process your payment.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request.

4.4 No Sale of Data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Security

We implement security measures including:

  • TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Secure password hashing (bcrypt)
  • Access controls and authentication
  • Regular security reviews

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion request
  • Saved Images: Retained according to your subscription tier (7-30 days), then automatically deleted
  • Usage Logs: Retained for 90 days for service operation
  • Payment Records: Retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export: Download your saved images and data
  • Opt-out: Disable optional data collection (image saving)

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

9. International Users

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access our services from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
