What is Syxth?

Syxth is a wearable AI system that combines a wristband device with an integrated camera, a capture button, haptic feedback, and a compact earpiece. When you press the capture button, the device takes a photo, sends it to our cloud for AI processing, and reads the response back to you through the earpiece.

It's designed for scenarios where you need quick information from documents, screens, or other visual content without looking at a phone or computer.

What can I use it for?

Common use cases include:

- Reading and summarizing documents or text
- Getting help with math problems or equations
- Translating text in foreign languages
- Quick research or fact-checking
- Accessibility assistance for visual content

The AI can interpret any visual content you capture and provide helpful responses.

Is the camera visible?

The camera lens is 1.5-2.5mm in diameter with about 1mm protrusion. It's integrated into the wristband housing for quick, natural captures. Someone looking closely at the wristband may notice it.

Is the earpiece visible?

The earpiece is a compact khaki-colored earbud with an 11mm driver. It sits flush against the ear canal without protruding, with no external stem. Under close inspection or direct lighting, it can be seen.

Alternatively, you can connect any Bluetooth audio device you prefer.

How do I order?

Orders are placed through our website. During checkout, you'll reserve the wristband device and choose your subscription tier.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major payment methods. Payment is confirmed before manufacturing begins.

How long does shipping take?

Units ship within 1-7 days of payment confirmation. You'll receive tracking information via email once your order ships.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the built-to-order nature of each unit, we do not offer refunds. See our Terms of Service for details. If you receive a defective unit, contact us for warranty support.

Technical

What WiFi networks does it support?

The device supports 802.11 b/g/n WiFi (2.4GHz). Enterprise networks with certificate-based authentication are not currently supported. Standard WPA/WPA2 personal networks work fine.

How do I set up WiFi?

Initial WiFi setup is done via Bluetooth from your phone. Open your phone's Bluetooth settings, connect to the device, and follow the prompts to enter your WiFi credentials. The device will remember your network and connect automatically in the future.

What happens if WiFi is unavailable?

Captures queue locally on the device and automatically upload when WiFi becomes available. You'll hear an audio cue indicating the capture was saved locally. When connection is restored, queued images are processed in order.

How fast is the response?

Typical response time is 2-5 seconds with standard settings. If you enable extended thinking mode for complex reasoning tasks, responses can take up to 60+ seconds depending on the complexity. You can configure thinking mode and effort level in your dashboard.

Can I customize the AI responses?

Yes. In your customer portal, you can set a custom system prompt for each device. This lets you adjust the AI's tone, focus, and response style. For example, you might set it to always respond in a specific language, focus on certain types of content, or provide more detailed explanations.

Privacy & Data

Are my images stored?

By default, images are processed and immediately discarded. However, you can optionally enable image history in your dashboard, which saves images for later review. Saved images are stored server-side and are not end-to-end encrypted - we can technically access them. If you're capturing sensitive information, keep image saving disabled.

How long are saved images kept?

Image retention depends on your subscription tier, ranging from 7 to 30 days. You can also manually delete images at any time from your dashboard.

Is my data encrypted?

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Images are uploaded over HTTPS. However, if you enable image saving, stored images are not end-to-end encrypted on our servers.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. Contact us to request account deletion. We'll remove your account and all associated data including any saved images.

Subscription

What happens when my trial ends?

After your 3-month Heavy tier trial, you can choose any subscription tier, including the free tier (5 requests/day). Your device will continue to work - you just need to stay within your tier's daily limit.

Can I change my subscription tier?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your tier at any time from your customer portal. Changes take effect immediately for upgrades, or at the end of your current billing period for downgrades.

What happens if I exceed my daily limit?

Once you reach your daily request limit, additional captures will not be processed until the next day (midnight UTC). You'll hear an audio cue indicating you've reached your limit. Consider upgrading your tier if you regularly hit limits.
